What would $80m buy in 2019...

If you had $1 for every time a Newsagency employee has uttered the words "Good Luck!" this week - you still would not come close to the enormous Oz Lotto jackpot of $80m available as the division one prize tonight. 

As we all think generously and benevolently about family debts we would pay off, and charities we would support (not to mention any GoFundMe campaigns...) let's consider which entirely unnecessary and magnificent things $80m could buy in 2019.... 

Let your imagination run as rampant as a Wallaby on Social Media and indulge in a little wealth porn in anticipation of the result... 

"La Familia" 55m Amels Motor yacht 

This luxury yacht boasts 5 passenger rooms, a gym, and private balconies that prove that family really is, everything... For sale now for a cool $US50m.

"Phoenix Acres", Vaucluse 

This sprawling mansion boasts an 81m water frontage on Sydney Harbour and sold for $65m in 2017. The property includes a tennis court, 28m pool and English Style Pub.  Depending on re-sale conditions there could be change in the bank for a vessel to moor out the front... 

Gulfstream G650 

Loyalty points become less of an issue with $80m in the bank, so why not buy a Gulfstream? A 16 passenger Gulf Stream will set you back approximately $US50m, which means you may still need your friends to tip in for fuel....
